I Refuse To Be Discouraged

I refuse to be discouraged, To be sad, or to cry; I refuse to be downhearted, And here's the reason why...
I have a God who's mighty, Who's sovereign and supreme; I have a God who loves me, And I am on His team.
He is all wise and powerful, Jesus is His name; Though everything is changeable, My God remains the same.
My God knows all that's happening; Beginning to the end, His presence is my comfort, He is my dearest friend.
When sickness comes to weaken me, To bring my head down low, I call upon my mighty God; Into His arms I go.
When circumstances threaten To rob me from my peace; He draws me close unto His breast, Where all my strivings cease.
And when my heart melts within me, And weakness takes control; He gathers me into His arms, He soothes my heart and soul.
The great "I AM" is with me, My life is in His hand, The "Son of the Lord" is my hope, It's in His strength I stand.
I refuse to be defeated, My eyes are on my God; He has promised to be with me, As through this life I trod.
I'm looking past all my circumstances, To Heaven's throne above; My prayers have reached the heart of God, I'm resting in His love.
I give God thanks in everything, My eyes are on His face; The battle's His, the victory is mine; He'll help me win the race.

Monday Evening

Well, here I am again. Travis is golfing with his league. Emily is sleeping. Nathan is watching cartoons. I am thinking about Jesus. How can I be more like Him? I so want to Bless His Name and not bring shame to Him. I love Him so much. He loves me so much. He is truly Glorious. Worthy of all Praise Honor and Adoration. Moreover, how can I share His Love with you? He is trustworthy. He'll never leave you or forsake you. He is waiting with arms open wide for you to call on His Name.

God Is Faithful and True

Do you know the Lord Jesus, Friend? I promise you He is Faithful and True. In fact those are two of His names. Whatever you are going through in your life, if He is at your side, you will make it through. It won't be easy. I would never lie about that. He said that in this life we would have tribulation, but we would never be alone, if we trust in Him. Do you know Abraham's story, Joseph's, Hannah's? How about Tammy Trent's? God has proven Himself to be Faithful to His people.

Repent of your sins today, Friend. Today is the day of Salvation. Time is growing short. Your days were numbered in His book long before you were ever born. Come to Jesus, his yoke is light and his burden is easy. He loves you! He died for you! He rose again and now sits at the Right Hand of God interceeding for you! What are you waiting for?

John 3:16 says "For God so loved the people He created, that He gave His One and Only Son that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life."

Pray now!

Father God, I believe in you, I believe that I am a sinner. I believe that you are Faithful and True, Merciful and Good. Please forgive me for my transgressions. Lord Jesus, thank you for paying for my sins with Your own Blood. Please come into my heart. Make me a new creature. In Jesus name, I pray.

Friend,
If you believe on the name of Jesus, the angels in Heaven are rejoicing that your name has been written in the Lamb's Book of Life. Find a body of believers in a Bible Based congreation to join. The enemy will come against you even at this moment reminding you of every sin you have ever committed! Remind him of his future. He will spend eternity in damnation, while you will be spending eternity with Almighty God!

This prayer is for you:

Father God in the name of Jesus, I pray for our new family member. Bless this person mightily with faith and confidence in You, Oh God. Give this person strength to stand on Your Word, disregarding the lies of the enemy. Help this person, find a body of believers to support him or her as he or she learns to become more like you. Thank you for another name written in your Book of Life. Amen.

Women of Faith

On my way to Women of Faith conference today. It should be a great time. We have a group of 24 going! We'll be doing some shopping, some eating and then hearing great worship music and encouragement from the Word of God! The speakers are Sheila Walsh, Marilyn Meberg, Patsy Clairmont, Nicole Johnson, Luci Swindoll, and Thelma Wells. Music by CeCe Winans and Tammy Trent. Ladies, I would highly recommend attending one of these conferences. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll have a great time!

The downside, I will be leaving my 9 month old daughter overnight for the first time since she was born. Their dad will take good care of them, but it is still hard for me to be away from my family. I'll just leave them all in God's capable hands and see them when I return!

God bless!

Nathan's plan

My four year old has his life planned out. He is going to marry his "girlfriend" Grace (who is also 4). He wants to be a teacher, firefighter, pilot, astronaut, gardner, doctor, & a daddy. He also wants to be a "star" and "be in a show." He loves music and loves to dance. He's a problem solver, though some of his solutions are not realistic, except to a pre-schooler's way of thinking. His vocabulary is very advanced for his age. He love's to read books, although I actually do the reading.

Thank you Lord God for the Blessing of my little man!
